This one day workshop introduces the basic principles of Thai massage and gives practitioners a ‘taste” of this sacred healing art. Topics covered include

• Brief history and theory of Thai massage,
• Thai massage techniques
• Guidelines for proper Thai Massage.
• Students will have an opportunity to give and receive Thai massage, and will learn a 45 minute sequence including techniques in supine, prone, and seated positions.

This will provide a solid foundation for those who wish to pursue further studies in Thai massage.

This 5 day workshop will provide students with the skills and knowledge to provide a 1½ hour Traditional Thai massage. Emphasis is placed on safety and proper body mechanics.

Topics covered include:

• history, theory, and spiritual traditions of thai massage
• daily exercises and rituals to ground ourselves in mindfulness
• guidelines for proper thai massage and safe, effective  application of thai massage techniques
• students will give and receive a 11/2 hour thai massage sequence in supine, prone, and seated positions.

There will be a manual available at the workshop with detailed instructions and photographs of techniques covered.

This workshop will introduce the Sidelying and inversion positions, as well as additional techniques in supine, prone, and seated. Students will review and refine techniques from level 1 and fully integrate themt with the new techniques to administer a complete/full body Thai massage treatment. The workshop will cover:

• knowledge and skills to provide a full body 2 – 2 ½ hour traditional Thai massage in supine, prone, sidelying, and inverted  positions.
• Application of steamed herbal compresses
• Sen line theory and advanced therapeutic applications of Thai massage
• Guidance on individually tailoring treatments for your clients

A complete manual including detailed instructions and pictures of the new techniques covered will be available at the workshop

Dating back thousands of years, foot massage has served as a therapeutic tool for cultures all over the world. A foot massage is deeply relaxing, and benefits the entire body –  not just the feet. Ancient theory maintains that areas of the foot correspond to areas of the Entire body and that by stimulating certain “reflex” points of the feet we can assist the body back into its natural state of balance, thus providing overall better health and wellness.

This one day workshop will cover theory of foot reflexology as well as basic Techniques of foot massage. Students will learn a one hour sequence of Thai Foot massage, which is the “ultimate” in relaxation. Topics include:

• Warm up techniques for the feet
• Stimulation of 36 reflex points on the feet that correspond to all areas of the body. This is performed the “Thai” way - using a smooth, wooden stick which will be provided to students on the day of the class.
• Thai massage techniques to provide a brief leg, arm & hand, and head, neck, & shoulder massage.

This 2 day workshop will provide students with appropriate Thai massage techniques modified for use on a massage table, versus a mat on the floor. It is practical for learners who wish to apply the healing art of Thai massage, but either do not have the appropriate work space or are not physically comfortable working on the floor. Students will learn a "stand alone" sequence, but can also incorporate techniques into your current traditional massage routine to revitalize your practice. This workshop offers a great foundation to build upon with further  Thai massage studies.

This one day course will introduce you to the ancient traditions of Thai herbal healing and Thai herbal compress therapy. Featured on the cover of Massage magazines  June 2007 issue, this treatment is currently “hot” and is expected to continue to grow in popularity. According to the article, a spa in California commented that the treatment was “an instant hit with guests”.
Thai herbal therapy is easy to learn and easy to administer. It offers wonderful benefits of aromatherapy, heat therapy, and herbal therapy all in one. The course will cover the following:

• discussion on traditional thai medicine and principles of Thai herbal medicine
